Business Enterprise Hub

The Business Enterprise Hub (BE Hub) will be a flexible space for business innovation that’s accessible to businesses and students alike, providing an inspirational environment that encourages entrepreneurial thinking.

The BE hub will support the upskilling and growth of existing small and micro-businesses from all sectors present in the region, as well as providing support to start-ups, university spin-outs and inward investors.

Moray has over 3,000 small and medium sized enterprises which represents a considerable growth potential if these businesses can be helped to scale-up.

The BE hub will be located on South Street in Elgin forming part of the south street regeneration project. This is part of a multi-building site shared with the MGD Housing Mix project

The hub will have a high profile in the town centre as it’s sited near the main UHI Moray campus and the city centre with an aim to make engagement accessible.

The Hub:
  • Hot-desking facilities
  • Pre-incubation space for new and growing businesses
  • Access to meeting rooms, studios and digital equipment.
  • Space for research and development
  • Co-ordinated offer of education, training and research support
Co-ordinated working:

It’s intended that the Business Enterprise Hub will work closely with other Growth Deal projects:
